If you are planning a Royal Caribbean cruise to the Bahamas, the Caribbean, or Bermuda, you will have the benefit of enjoying Perfect Day at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean’s private island! Whether you’re traveling with children, teens, or adults, there are a wide variety of activities, bars, and restaurants to enjoy throughout your stay. If you’d like to learn more about what this beautiful private island has to offer, keep reading!

Activities

Waterslides

Are you a thrill-seeker looking for an adrenaline rush? Look no further than the Thrill Water Park, home to two massive towers packed with seven different water slides! The first tower, Splash Summit, offers family-friendly slides at more mellow speeds. For competitive thrill-seekers who are in the mood for a friendly race, the Slingshot hurls groups of up to four into the air on a group raft. Another great option for racers in groups of two is The Twister, which allows daredevils to glide down tube slides.

The second tower, Thrill Tower, is home to the legendary Dueling Demons attraction, which features two terrifying 75-foot drops. For the most courageous riders, Perfect Day at CocoCay offers Daredevil’s Peak, the tallest waterslide in North America. This slide stands at a whopping 135 feet tall, zips at speeds of 18 MPH, and lasts for 35 seconds! Some of the other exciting slides include the Screeching Serpent and Manta Raycers.

More relaxed attractions

For islanders wishing to have a more relaxing day filled with soaking up some rays and taking in beautiful tropical views, some of these attractions may be for you! Spend part of your day at the Wave Pool, the biggest wave pool in all of the Caribbean, or the Oasis Lagoon, the biggest freshwater pool in the Caribbean.

Fun for the whole family

For children of all ages, Perfect Day at Cococay offers Splashaway Bay, an aqua park that has two drench buckets and holds 21,000 gallons of water, and Captain Jill’s Galleon, an aqua park with 16 water cannons and three dry slides. Royal Caribbean’s private island also offers a 1,600-foot zip line that soars over different parts of the island, offering guests panoramic ocean views.

Are you an adventurer looking to tackle your next feat? Maybe try out Up, Up and Away, a helium balloon ride that soars up to 450 feet above sea level. This attraction happens to be the tallest vantage point in the entirety of the Bahamas (it’s actually taller than the Statue of Liberty!).

Feelin’ extra boujee this vacation? Consider treating you and your party to a day at Coco Beach Club, an exclusive private hideaway. For a premium fee, guests are offered access to an infinity edge pool, live music, and a private waterfront restaurant hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the island. There are even overwater cabanas for rent that include a personal attendant, private showers, hammocks, and slides that glide straight into the ocean!

Bars

If you purchased the Deluxe Drink Package, consider taking advantage of some of the bars on the private island. Pro tip: Chill Island features a signature drink, the Coco Loco, which is only available here! Don’t miss out on the chance to sip your favorite cocktail at the swim-up bar at the Oasis Lagoon, which features in-water tables and underwater speakers. If you’re feeling parched or peckish, check out the Wacky Seagull and Seagull Jr. bars at Chill Island (each is located on the opposite sides of Chill Island). These bars serve grab-and-go drinks and snacks right off the beach.

Restaurants

If you think that the amazing food that Royal Caribbean offers ends onboard, think again! Captain Jack’s is a family-friendly favorite for many cruisers and offers eight signature wing and fry sauces, live music, and a full bar. Another spot that any islander must check out is Skipper’s Grill, which serves casual fare, waterfront views, and a self-serve beer station for an additional cost. Chill Grill is the biggest restaurant on Perfect Day on CocoCay, located right next to Chill Island. This restaurant is beachside and offers a build-your-own taco bar! Lastly, after hours of having some fun in the sun, swing by one of the three locations of Snack Shack, which serves quick-bites for when you’re on the go to your next adventure.
