Whether you’re young or young-at-heart, Disney Cruise Line has created the ultimate blend of relaxation, entertainment, and pure Disney magic all on the high seas. Youth Clubs
“It’s a Small World” Nursery (Ages 6 months-3 years)
This internationally themed nursery offers adults the freedom of venturing out for a parent’s night out. Whether parents are interested in dining at Palo or Remy’s for a romantic dinner or spending the evening relaxing in the adults-only nightlife district, be assured that Disney counselors are taking quality care of your youngsters. This nursery also features a window where parents can check in on their children if they need some peace of mind. While babies are carefully looked after, toddlers can expect to be entertained by movies, story time, arts and crafts, and character visits.
The nursery is the only youth club that is offered for an additional fee onboard. You can expect to pay $4.50 per half hour or $9.00/hr. for the first child. For additional children, the rates are $4.00 per half hour or $8.00 per hour. Make sure to reserve spots ahead of time and prepare to bring diapers and wipes.
The Oceaneer Club and Lab (Ages 3-12 years)
The Oceaneer Club is the perfect combination of learning new things, making new friends, and having fun! Young cruisers can expect to take part in magical activities with a range of themes that vary from ship to ship. Your children will have the opportunity to become detectives, searching for Captain Hook’s favorite dress hook on a 3-day mission, build race cars out of bars of soap in the Piston Cup Challenge, and participate in science experiments with Professor Make-O-Mess! Other activities include character meet-and-greets, storytelling, play areas, dressing up, and more.
And the fun doesn’t stop there; the Oceaneer Lab (connected to the Oceaneer Club) is a fun-filled space devoted to youngsters interested in exploration. Whether your child prefers learning lightsaber tricks with Obi-Wan Kenobi or baking chocolate-chip cookies with Remy, the Oceaneer Lab is filled with guided activities that will keep your young one occupied for hours on end!
Edge (Ages 11-14)
Edge is a highly interactive hangout that allows tweens to get away and enjoy their own private hideaway—no adults allowed! This youth club offers tween activities that include scavenger hunts, improv shows, trivia, physical competitions around the ship, and DJ competitions. In addition to group activities run by awesome counselors, Edge also features amenities such as an 18 by 5 foot LCD video wall, an illuminated dance floor, karaoke machines, gaming consoles, photo booths, game tables, and more. Whatever your tween decides to do, don’t expect them to be back in the stateroom early; Edge stays open until 1 AM!
Vibe (Ages 14-17)
Arguably one of the coolest youth clubs onboard any Disney ship, Vibe is an exclusive hangout for teens only. Teens can expect to meet new friends from all over the world, participate in awesome group activities, and sunbathe on their private sundeck. Some other amenities available at Vibe are flat screens, a private coffee bar, video games, and giant glass windows that showcase the beautiful open ocean.
This youth club also offers a teen-only excursion, The Wild Side, on Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay. The Wild Side includes snorkeling, a bike ride, and a high-speed boat ride. Available to teens only, The Hideout is a private clubhouse on the seashore at Castaway Cay where young cruisers can soak up some rays, go for a swim, or play a game of beach volleyball.
For the adults
Quiet Cove (Ages 18+)
Quiet Cove is a serene escape for cruisers seeking tranquility in this private adults-only haven. This secluded area features a refreshing plunge and sunbathing pool, a beautiful poolside bar, invigorating whirlpool spas, and plush lounge chairs overlooking the ocean. Indulge in moments of leisure as you catch up on your favorite book or take a catnap while you are surrounded by the sound of the open seas. Quiet Cove is undoubtedly one of the most relaxing places for adult passengers aboard the ship.
Restaurants (Ages 18+)
Disney Cruise Line offers two specialty dining options for adults wishing to dine without children at an additional cost. Palo is a northern Italian-themed restaurant in an intimate setting that offers guests breathtaking views of the high seas. Immerse yourself in luxury at Remy, a French restaurant that enchants guests as they savor each expertly crafted dish. Whichever you choose, both restaurants represent the pinnacle of fine dining. Palo and Remy both recommend that guests dress anywhere between formal and semi-formal, although dress casual is also permitted.
Nightlife District (Ages 18+)
From laid-back piano bars and lounges to high-energy dance clubs, Disney presents a diverse selection of venues for adult cruisers to choose from. Once the little ones have returned to their youth clubs, consider going to one of Disney’s vibrant comedy or game shows that rotate every night.
